Bilal Itani Joins the Expert Panel of the Digital Transformation 2023 Report

Our co-founder Bilal Itani was invited to join the expert panel for the Digital Transformation 2023 special report, sponsored by USTech Solutions. The report brought together ten leaders in digital strategy to map out where business transformation was heading, covering topics from AI and cloud to data platforms and customer journeys.

Bilal’s take: digital customer journeys

Bilal contributed the section on digital customer journeys. His argument was that the growth of e-commerce has pushed premium and luxury brands to rethink their digital strategies, and that 3D commerce is one of the clearest ways to do it. By letting shoppers view a product from every angle, zoom in, and customize it, brands give people the confidence they normally only get in a store.

In his words, 3D commerce

“bridges the gap between online and in-store shopping experiences.”  Bilal Itani

He pointed to luxury houses that were already presenting products in 3D online as proof that the shift was underway.

Where we are today

Today, Modular is an AI innovation company. We build AI products that help businesses in retail, commerce and operations sell and work smarter, and we are expanding across the GCC, including Saudi Arabia. Much of that work grows directly out of the 3D and customer-experience foundations this recognition celebrated.

“What I said in 2023 about closing the gap between online and in-store still holds. What’s changed is that AI now lets us personalize that experience for every shopper.”  Bilal Itani, Co-founder & CEO, Modular

The build log

One email when we publish.

Notes from inside the system — what shipped, what broke, what we learned. Roughly twice a month. No marketing, and one click to leave.

We use it for the build log and nothing else.
